Terms of Use
Last updated: 19 October 2026
§1 Scope
1.1 These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Ad Archetype Library and the Hook Library (together the "Products") on adarchetypes.com (the "Website"). They are between you and Anton Tokarev, anton@adarchetypes.com ("we", "us"). Our full provider details are in the Impressum. The purchase itself is processed by Stripe as described in §3.
1.2 A "consumer" is anyone buying for purposes that are mainly outside their trade, business or profession (§13 BGB). A "business customer" is anyone buying in the course of their trade, business or profession (§14 BGB). Where a clause applies to only one of the two, it says so.
1.3 Your own terms and conditions do not apply, even if we don't object to them, unless we have agreed to them in writing.
1.4 The contract language is English.
§2 The Products
2.1 Ad Archetype Library: an online collection of ad types ("archetypes") for Meta advertising. Each archetype includes its format, category, what it requires, a description, reference ads and an AI editing prompt. The scope at the time of your purchase is described on the Website.
2.2 Hook Library: an optional add-on with fill-in-the-blank hook formulas and examples. You can add it at checkout when buying the Ad Archetype Library, or buy it later from inside the Ad Archetype Library. It is only available to owners of the Ad Archetype Library.
2.3 Team setup: logged-in customers can send us an enquiry about setting up the workflow for their team. An enquiry is not a purchase. Any such service is agreed separately and is not covered by these Terms.
2.4 Both Products are digital content provided online in your browser. There is no physical delivery and no download, unless we offer one.
2.5 To use the Products you need a current web browser, an internet connection and access to the email address you used at checkout.
§3 How the contract is made
3.1 The presentation of the Products on the Website is not a binding offer. It is an invitation to place an order.
3.2 When you click "Get instant access", you are taken to a checkout page operated by Stripe. There you choose any add-ons, enter your details and see the total price. You can correct any input before paying. By clicking the payment button you place a binding order.
3.3 Purchases are processed by Stripe as reseller and merchant of record. Stripe sells you access to the Products and handles payment, invoicing, taxes, refunds and payment disputes under its own terms for customers, which apply to your purchase. Your right to use the Products, and everything else in these Terms, is between you and us.
3.4 Your access starts as soon as your payment is confirmed.
3.5 These Terms are available at any time on the Website. Please save or print a copy for your records.
§4 Prices and payment
4.1 All prices are one-time prices in US dollars as shown on the Website and include any VAT or sales tax. Stripe, as merchant of record, calculates, collects and pays these taxes. The final total is shown at checkout before you pay.
4.2 Payment is handled by Stripe. The available payment methods are shown at checkout.
4.3 Stripe sends you a receipt or invoice by email.
4.4 The Products are not subscriptions. There are no recurring charges.
§5 Access
5.1 Access starts immediately after payment: you are logged in automatically on the confirmation page. After that, you log in with a one-time link sent to the email address used at checkout. You can request a new link at any time on the login page.
5.2 Access is not time-limited and does not require any further payment.
5.3 Keep your login links private. Anyone with access to your email inbox can log in to your account.
§6 Licence and permitted use
6.1 With your purchase you receive a simple (non-exclusive), non-transferable right to use the Products as described in this section. All other rights stay with us.
6.2 Who may use one purchase:
- Business customers: the purchasing company and the people working for it, meaning its employees and freelancers, as long as they use the Products for the company's own work. This includes work the company does for its clients.
- Consumers: you personally.
6.3 What you may do: use the archetypes, categories, structures, AI prompts and hook formulas to create your own ads and plan your own creative work, including for your clients. The ads you create are yours. You may also use AI assistants to work with the Products for your own internal purposes, for example to categorise your competitors' ads using our archetypes.
6.4 What you may not do:
- sell, rent, sublicense or give the Products or parts of them to anyone outside the group in 6.2;
- share your login with other companies or people outside the group in 6.2;
- publish substantial parts of the Products, or use them to build a competing library, database, course or tool;
- extract the Products in bulk with automated tools for any purpose other than your own internal use under 6.3;
- remove or hide notices identifying the original advertisers.
6.5 Reference ads: the reference ads in the Library were created by other advertisers and belong to them. We show them for analysis and education only. Your purchase gives you no rights to them. You may use their structure as inspiration, but you may not copy a reference ad, its text, images or brand elements, or present it as your own.
6.6 If you, or someone using your access, seriously breach this section, §12 applies.
§7 Updates and changes to the Products
7.1 We provide the updates needed to keep the Products working as described, including security updates. For consumers, this follows the statutory rules for digital products (§327f BGB).
7.2 We regularly add new archetypes, references and hooks at no extra charge. You are not entitled to any particular addition or update schedule.
7.3 We may replace or remove individual references, for example when a rights holder asks us to remove their ad, or to improve the Library. We will not reduce the Products below the scope described at the time of your purchase.
7.4 For consumers, we only make other changes to the Products if there is a valid reason (such as technical, legal or security requirements), the change costs you nothing, and we inform you clearly. If a change significantly affects your use, you have the rights set out in §327r BGB.
§8 Availability
We aim to keep the Website available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, technical problems and events outside our control can cause interruptions. We schedule planned maintenance for low-traffic times where possible.
§9 No guarantee of results
9.1 The Products are reference and education material. Ad results depend on many factors outside our control, including your offer, audience, budget, execution and platform decisions. We do not guarantee any results, performance, ad approvals or revenue.
9.2 You are responsible for the ads you create. In particular, you must make sure they comply with the law and with the policies of the advertising platforms, that you have the rights to the material you use, and that you follow the terms of any AI tool you use with our prompts.
§10 Warranty
10.1 The statutory warranty rights apply.
10.2 Business customers must report obvious defects in writing within 14 days of noticing them.
§11 Liability
11.1 We are fully liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the Product Liability Act, and where we have given a guarantee.
11.2 For slight negligence, we are only liable if we breach an essential contractual obligation, meaning an obligation that makes proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on which you may regularly rely. In that case our liability is limited to the damage that is typical and foreseeable for this type of contract.
11.3 Otherwise, our liability is excluded.
11.4 These limits also apply to our employees, representatives and agents.
§12 Suspension and termination
12.1 If you breach §6, we may suspend your access after a warning. For serious breaches, such as reselling the Products or sharing access outside the group in 6.2, we may suspend or end your access without a warning.
12.2 If we end your access because of your breach, you are not entitled to a refund, unless the law requires one.
12.3 Your and our right to terminate for good cause remains unaffected.
§13 Refunds and right of withdrawal
13.1 Because Stripe sells the Products to you as merchant of record, refunds and any statutory right of withdrawal are handled by Stripe under its terms for customers.
13.2 If you have a problem with your purchase, please email us first at anton@adarchetypes.com. We reply within two business days.
13.3 The Products are digital content made available immediately after payment. Your statutory rights as a consumer, including your warranty rights under §10, are not affected.
§14 Privacy
We process your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
§15 Dispute resolution
We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§36 VSBG). If you have a problem, email us at anton@adarchetypes.com and we will try to resolve it directly.
§16 Changes to these Terms
16.1 The version of these Terms that applies to a purchase is the one valid at the time of that purchase.
16.2 We may change these Terms for future purchases at any time. For existing purchases, we only make changes that are required by law or that do not put you at a disadvantage, and we inform you by email.
§17 Governing law and jurisdiction
17.1 German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
17.2 If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not take away the protection of mandatory consumer law in the country where you habitually live.
17.3 If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, or if you have no general place of jurisdiction in Germany, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Berlin, Germany.
§18 Final provisions
18.1 If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions stay valid.
